To keep the IT Shop catalog tidy we usually only list the two latest versions of a software product (only the latest version for student software). If you already have an installation of an older version and you want to renew/reorder the software but it’s not available in the IT Shop catalog anymore then you can just order a license of the latest version and continue working with the older installation. Exceptions to this rule may apply.

If you need to install an older version of a software and it’s not available in IT Shop anymore then send us an email to itshop@ethz.ch and we will make the older version available to you unless technical or legal reasons prohibit us from doing so.

Note that using old software versions that are not supported by the vendor anymore may pose a security risk.
