IT Shop (Software – https://idesnx.ethz.ch ) was migrated to IT Shop (ITSM –  https://itshop.ethz.ch) and is now listed in the Service Catalog under Software and Business Applications. After logging in you will find the familiar software shop functionality under the Software & Licenses entry. With this migration we are taking another step towards a Single Point of Contact/Self Service Portal for all of our IT services. Your existing active licenses will be transferred to the new shop. After the migration has finished, IT Shop (Software) will no longer be available and will redirect to IT Shop (ITSM).

Unchanged processes

The ordering process (including financial approval for staff and payment options for students) remains unchanged. The many improvements made are technical in nature and relate to user interface and performance. We have produced videos showing everything in detail for the most common use cases (work in progress, additional videos are being published soon).
